In-Home ElderCare Evaluation
Most elderly persons want to remain in their home or live with their family. Many family members and caregivers are in a fog about what an elderly parent actually needs and how to provide the care. Atlas Health Resources has teamed up with HomeCare Management Services to provide an in-home eldercare evaluation.

A personalized in-home evaluation and report will provide invaluable information and insight on how to care for an elderly relative in the home.

A qualified nurse will come to your home and evaluate the four primary eldercare areas of nutritional needs, mobility issues, safety, and medications.

A written report will provide a very focused picture on what is needed to keep an elderly person at home. The report might recommend different services or home modifications like installing grab bars, door levers, better lighting, and accessibility improvements.

The report may recommend business that can provide in-home services such as nursing care, bathing assistance, homemakers, and helpful supplies and equipment.

ElderCare Home Modification / Remodeling / New Construction
Aging or the progression of a disabling medical condition can make one's own home a difficult place to live in. Each room in a home poses risks, and accidents can occur in areas that have not been modified to meet their occupants' needs.

Simple and inexpensive modifications can make the daily activities of living more safe and comfortable as well as reduce the risk of costly and devastating falls, injuries, and hospitalizations.

Products are available that have an appearance that's much more compatible with residential settings.

If you are looking for mobile devices such as portable wheelchair ramps, please see the store section at the top of the website.

For the most part, home modifications are an out-of-pocket expense. Health insurance is predicated on a term called "medical necessity" and usually modifications are not deemed medically necessary. In fact, rarely does an insurer to pay for something like a shower chair.
